Heather Moister - Annual and Perennial Manager
Heather started working for The Barn Nursery in 1998 while still in high school, and is now the Perennial/Annual Department Manager. She has a bachelors degree in Horticulture from Iowa State University and is a Illinois Certified Nursery Professional. Heather was raised in Crystal Lake and still enjoys boating on the lake when time and weather permits. She also has a lovely daughter, Charlotte, that everyone is happy to see when she visits us at The Barn.  While Heather has an enthusiasm for all plants from turf to trees, her passion is perennials.

Tom Kusmerz - Nursery Manager

Tom Kusmerz is currently our nursery manager. With a lifetime of experience, Tom only chooses plant material that will thrive in our area and soils. Tom is happy to welcome you to The Barn and willing to help however he can!

Julie Joyce - Marketing Manager
Julie has a degree in International Business from the University of Iowa and a Masters of Business Administration from DePaul University. She began working at the Barn at 2006 and enjoys the fact that works with a great group of co-workers and customers in and natural setting (not a cubicle!).  Every day brings something new at The Barn! She is also a mom to Colin and Camryn who love to visit the Barn and go for a ride with their mom on our golf cart.
