This backyard design has it all!
A walk out basement leads directly to a protected outdoor kitchen and pizza oven, situated next to a casual seating area and a second entertaining area adjacent to the fire pit.
Both spaces gaze out across the in-ground pool and hot-tub with infinity waterfall, which spills into the beautiful pool.
This outdoor living space is surrounded by low maintenance plants which enhance the beauty of the space. Natural stone “floating” stairs lead to the font of the home which features an extensive planting bed, retaining wall and brick paver entrance.
The overhead view of the pool patio highlights the contrasting natural stone selection and pattern that our architecture team used to delineate various spaces within the overall patio. We incorporated straight edges to build privacy nooks around the seating area adjacent to the grill and curving "nooks" for a sense of coziness near the fire pit.
On either side of the pool patio, generous shade trees, evergreens and shrubs were used to add color and ambiance, but also to provide a privacy screen. The plants not only provide visual privacy but muffle the sounds of entertaining and conversation, to minimize the impact of entertaining outdoors.
This landscape design features two enhancements that really add value and interest to the design. First, the waterfall from the hot tub to the pool is visually stunning and the gentle falling water sounds lovely on a quiet summer day. The second element to note is the giant stone pizza oven. This hand-built creation stands tall among the design, grabbing the eye from every vantage point. But it isn’t just for looks. This high-end pizza oven is build to COOK and pops out perfectly toasted pizza crust with ease. This is a fun addition to anyone that loves cooking and enjoys a gourmet pizza experience.
To lead guests from the front to the backyard, our team used natural stone to build “floating” steps into the sloping yard, creating a stairway that is safe and visually unique.

Casual entertaining? There are not one but two spaces to choose from, the cozy couch nook or the fire pit.
